Bank

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions and concerns raised:

  • Fishing from the bank on lakes and rivers can be daunting for the inexperienced fly fisher.

  • To wade or not to wade?

  • How far to wade?

  • Should I use a line tray?

  • I keep catching the ground behind me!

  • My presentation is poor.

  • Should I use a weight forward or double taper?

  • How far should I cast?

  • What sort of retrieve?

  • What time of day should I start?

  • What sort of waders do I need?

A few hours with one of our instructors on the bank can answer many of these questions for you. To stand next to a competent bank angler, is indeed, a fishing experience. A steep and interesting learning curve.

Boat

We have extensive knowledge of all of the Midland Reservoirs. You may well have heard that a particular method or line works well at Rutland. You may wish to explore the known hotspots at Grafham, or you have heard that 'the bung' works well at Pitsford and would like to know how to fish it?

We will be pleased to discuss your requirements and help you to realise your ambitions. Please contact us on any of the numbers or email addresses shown or use our 'contact us' page ...
